PIC Design offers brass tip set screws with a heat treated alloy steel body and a brass insert. A brass tip set screw won’t cut into the shaft and damage it or the component, giving it an advantage over the cup point set screw.
Available in standard sizes ranging from #2-56 thru #10-32 with a black oxide finish.
