Gripping External Retaining Rings

Gripping External Retaining Rings can be used with our without a groove in the shaft. The areas of the ring that protrude out from the shaft hold it in place. This ring has greater gripping strength over self-locking fasteners and are resistant to rotation between the ring and the retained components or assembly.  PIC Design’s gripping external retaining ring is adjustable in either axial direction and will not mar the shaft surface.
