Bevel gears are conical in form and run on crossed co-planar shafts. The shaft angle is typically 90 degrees. PIC offers straight bevel gears, i.e. the teeth have no helix or spiral angle. Miter gears are bevel gears with a 1:1 ratio that operate at a shaft angle of 90 degrees.
