Set Screw Couplings

PIC Design manufactures precision set screw couplings in metric and inch sizes for clients in a variety of industries. Stainless Steel Couplings are used primarily in applications where component wash down is frequent such as food processing, pharmaceutical or marine applications. Compared to other rigid coupling designs, set screw couplings are the most cost-effective option. They’re designed to provide torque transmission and alignment. For additional torque capacity, we offer set screw couplings designed with a keyway for keyed shafts.

The bores on our set screw rigid couplings are precisely manufactured to ensure that they are collinear. This is important for precision applications such as servo systems and mixers because it allows for more surface contact with the shaft and higher torque transmission capabilities.
