When you request a catalog through our web site we need to know your name and mailing address in order to mail the catalog. We also collect your telephone number and e-mail address for use as internal 'tie-breakers' within the data base. This data resides on PIC's web site until it is retrieved for processing. It is permanently stored on PIC's back-end system which is not connected to the Internet.

When you register at PIC's e-commerce web site, you are asked to provide the usual range of shipping and billing data as well as a credit card number and an e-mail address. The e-mail address is the one that the e-commerce software will use for sending the confirmation of a sales order and a confirmation of shipment (for UPS shipments). All of this information is encrypted as soon as it has been entered and is stored on PIC's e-commerce server in its encrypted form. Sales orders are moved from the e-commerce server to PIC's in-house systems still in encrypted form.

PIC will use the collected e-mails for the sending of occasional e-mails concerning new products and promotions If you wish not to receive such e-mails, several ways of 'opting out' are being provided. Both forms on the web site have an 'opt out' box. If you check the box, you will not receive emails concerning new products and promotions. Any broadcast e-mails will include a 'remove me' option which will be immediately honored.

PIC will not share this electronic mailing list with any outside entity unless required to do so by court order.
